The Nexus 7 has been a major news of the recent Google I / O and has the credentials to establish itself in the tablet market thanks to the excellent relationship between price and performance. The approach of the Nexus 7 to market, however, may be not without some difficulty. The patents that Nokia highlights the breach relate WiFi technology integrated into the Nexus 7. According to the Finnish company, nor Google, nor Asus would have required a license to use the technology subject to patents . A Nokia spokesman as saying about it:
Nokia has more than 40 licensees, especially as regards its portfolio of patents relating to the essential standards, including the majority of manufacturers of mobile devices. Neither Google nor Asus have obtained the license of our patent portfolio
The alleged infringement of patents, the Finnish house seems determined not to remedy in the courts, as other competitors have been shown to do, but trying to make arrangements for the licensing of technologies have become matters of contention:
