Apple has announced a few hours a new sales record achieved, this time, the new iPadthird generation, within 4 days, has reached and surpassed the three million units sold .Once again, a figure beyond the expectations and forecasts, which is unequaled in the industry.
With a official press Apple announced more than three million new iPad sold in the United States, Canada, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Puerto Rico, Singapore, Switzerland, United Kingdom and the U.S. Virgin Islands in just four days on Friday 16 Saturday 17, Sunday 18 and Monday, March 19. The new iPad brings interesting new features, such as the new Retina display, the chip A5X GPU quad-core, and a 5 megapixel iSight video to 1080p and support for 4G LTE networks in the United States and Canada.
These are the words of Philip Schiller, senior vice president of International Marketing Company:
"The iPad is a new blockbuster from 3 million in sales - the biggest ever launch of iPad. Buyers are appreciating the new iPad features, like the great screen Retina, and we look forward to offering it in the hands of many more customers around the world by next Friday."
After the record of pre-orders recorded by the product, analysts had predicted 66 million units sold in 2012 and 1 million in first weekend . The results can be compared, compared with sales of the first two generations of iPad: 300,000 for the first iPad first day of sales in U.S. and one million  estimated for the iPad 2 in the first weekend. In particular: the first iPad took 80 days to reach a height of 3 million in sales . Sales of the iPhone 4S approach those that scored 4 million in 3 days !

Apple will announce the new iPad on March 7?

Posted by ~ Erch ~ on Wednesday, February 29, 2012 | 02:35

There really was a great excitement on Twitter last Tuesday, after Appleannounced its participation in an event to be held March 7 in San Francisco, inviting people to participate.
The invitation - for what is around you say, probably, the launch event for a new version of iPad - is characterized by noble image of just 10 words: "we have something that you absolutely must see. And touch ".

Like many marketers hired by Apple , Twitter users have responded in droves, catapulting the term "iPad 3" immediately on top of the topics of the moment around the world.

The new iPad may include the following: a quad-core, high-resolution retinal displays, 4G LTE connectivity

Confirmed: iPad 3 Has a 2048x1536 Retina Display

In the past few weeks have been numerous rumors on the technical characteristics of the iPad 3, from those relating to the display should have a much higher resolution than the current one. This figure, apparently, has been confirmed by a recent analysis of the microscope of a display which is attributed to iPad 3. The analysis would reveal a quantity of pixels twice that of the screen of iPad 2.
The curious thing is that the display screen in question is not one present or not real, but it is a display that is already sold as spare parts for the new iPad 3 from www.truesupplier.com  about $ 122.

This display, which in fact seems to be precisely that of iPad 3, is characterized by a diagonal substantially unchanged compared to that of the current model and equal to 9.7 ".Observing under a microscope the screen, in fact, it can be noted a number of pixels doubled . It would therefore decrease from the current 1024 × 768 pixels to 2048 × 1536 pixels.

The image shown just compares the display of iPad 2 with that of iPad 3. A comparison is not easy given that the sample used in the test, being removed, not allowed to activate the backlight. Despite the difficulties, extrapolating from the image the same size as a cluster, you can see how the display of iPad 3 has a double number of pixels - each side - than the iPad 2. In other words, for a given size of the cluster in the display of iPad 2 are located 4 pixels, whereas in the area of iPad 3 16 pixels .
An 'other indiscretions that emerges from this display with a pixel density so high, as MacRumors points out also, relates to the CPU is called A6 Chip Quad-Core, the only one capable of "supporting" a display like that.
We recall that the official presentation of iPad 3, with the renewed Retina display should take place on March 7.
