Samsung Galaxy S3 already on sale in Dubai at a price of $ 667!

Posted by ~ Erch ~ on Tuesday, May 22, 2012 | 08:16

It is unclear how it is possible, but in a shop in Dubai the new Samsung Galaxy S3 is available for purchase and confirmation would come not only from photos taken at the wheel of the actual availability of the smarphone also from a conversation that took place with the sales agent of the department that would have confirmed that the white variant is already in stock ready to be dealt with early preorders.
Not only that even the sale price would have been much lower than even many online retailers, with  $667 that the change would correspond to about € 529 for the lucky buyers who will bring home the new Samsung flagship smartphone.

NPD - Android has 61% of U.S. smartphone market, iOS declining since the beginning of the year

Posted by ~ Erch ~ on Tuesday, May 8, 2012 | 00:30

NPD Group has published the latest data on the distribution of current operating systems for smartphones for the U.S. market and the report shows a system Android still in the midst of its growth at the expense of his arch rival iPhone OS since the beginning of the year shown a continuous decline, yielding market share to the Google platform.

The first quarter of 2012 saw a net gain by Android, which has risen from 49% to 61%, but iPhone has had the opposite effect down from 41% to 29%, percentage shares virtually ceded to the Android platform. With regard to systems of Microsoft and RIM have been recorded changes and both have maintained the same percentage stable.
Much more substantial changes we will have them in the second half of the year, with the announcement by Apple's new iPhone 5 , the launch of Galaxy S3 in the US and the arrival of all the other high-end handsets that are not available currently in USA,like the LG Optimus 4X, the Huawei Ascend or Sony Xperia GX.

For the first time Google unveils Android platform revenue and earnings

Posted by ~ Erch ~ on Thursday, April 26, 2012 | 02:57

These days the process is taking place which is between Google and Oracle on a whole series of patents and infringements that have distinguished the two companies not only in the last month. Precisely because of the ongoing legal battle, Google has been forced to reveal numbers, earnings and revenue from the Android platform .

In 2010 there were approximately 20 million Android devices in June, with growth estimates which suggested a doubling by the end of that year, bringing to 40 million devices on the international market. A number such as Google lead to a gain of  approximately $ 278 million.
But significant gains are divided between advertising and real revenue from applications. In 2012, well in fact  158.9 million dollars was the result of advertising and only 3.8 million came from the sale of applications. Comparing now the values, the forecast for July 2012 indicates $ 840 million of revenue from advertising and from 35.9 million applications.

Also showing gains on an annual basis, the system Android has been a marked rise from 2010,tripling its revenue in 2011 which is derived from the application through mobile advertising revenues and increasing exponentially year over year by over 100%.
Between this year and next year Google will introduce new sales prospects and performance through the field of music and movies, news that soon will become globally accessible and that the company might project to the new rate of financial growth.
