Samsung officially announces Ice Cream Sandwich for Galaxy S2SAm coming at March 10!

The wait is finally over! Samsung has officially announced a few hours the availability of updates to Ice Cream Sandwich for Galaxy S2 from next March 10  and that is tomorrow, all the confirming previous rumors from the recent days.

Here are some some of the improvements that the update will bring on Galaxy S2.

• Unlock Android Face and Beam.
• Mobile Data Network to monitor data traffic.
• Improved multitasking and general responsiveness.

Samsung is keen to point out that due to some incompatibility of Android 4.0, Adobe Flashand support for Bluetooth 3.0 HS will not initially be supported after the release of (only Bluetooth 3.0).

The update package will be released via FOTA or through Kies 2.0 and Samsung should have at least 350MB of free space on your phone. Obviously tomorrow is the start of the Roll-Out and it is said to be made available in all markets. Surely ROMs odin will be published shortly in the hope that even in Italy, however, can come quickly.

New unofficial ROM for Galaxy S2 with Android 4.0.3 code I9100XXLPB

Great news for all fans of ROM Android 4.0.3 Touch wiz interface for Galaxy s2 .From a few hours in fact been dealt a new unofficial ROM, developed by Samsung but not yet final, which offers some interesting new graphical interface of the Galaxy S2 and a better overall optimization. The code of the new rom is I9100XXLPB and is based on Android 4.0.3. At the interface we find new transition for the flaking of the home, improvements in the status bar icons, some changes in the organization of the menu settings and better management of the telephone interface.

The update is quite interesting because it improves your internet browser and approaches clearly the definitive version that might come out in 4/8 weeks. In general, the fluidity of Ui has increased as well as the quality of interaction with the various internal app.
