Posted by ~ Erch ~ on Tuesday, February 21, 2012 | 11:57

Verizon’s online store is having a sale on select 4G LTE phones – namely the HTC Rezound and the LG Spectrum.

The LG Spectrum and HTC Rezound can be had for as little as $99.99 as long as you extend or add on a new 2-year contract. One phone has been out for a couple of months now, while the other is barely a month old. Both run 1.5GHz dual-core processors and have two of the most beautiful HD displays we have ever seen on a smartphone.

HTC Radiant LTE Windows Phone first Images leaked

Pocketnow have just posted  picture of a new Windows Phone smartphone.  HTC’s first LTE Windows Phone 7 handset.According to Pocketnow the phone in this picture which purports to be HTC’s first LTE Windows Phone 7 handset.

As it turns out, it looks just like your Titan but allegedly thicker for a larger battery. larger front-facing camera lens (which is sorely needed) and the right side buttons are skewed towards the bottom more.

In terms of specs we can definitely guess a standard Windows Phone configuration (with the 1.5GHz CPU, 512MB of RAM and definitely the same sized WVGA screen like on the Titan). Because of the LTE capability, the 1,600mAh battery on the Titan should definitely be improved on the Radiant in order to power both the radio and the huge 4.7-inch display.   And according to pocketnow source, this device is also going to hit Telstra Australia.

HTC and Samsung are preparing new LTE-equipped Windows Phone devices. Both handsets will feature a pre-Tango version of Windows Phone that includes LTE support.

HTC's 4G LTE Windows Phone is currently codenamed Radiant. This isn't the first time the codename has been mentioned, it was previously spotted running a post-Mango build of Windows Phone, originally thought to be codenamed Tango.

Samsung's 4G LTE phone will feature a large screen according to our source, pushing it beyond the 4.3-inch Samsung Focus S. The device is codenamed Mandel. Both handsets are expected to be made available in early 2012 alongside Nokia's LTE Windows Phone.

Microsoft has made no secret of its Windows Phone LTE plans and Verizon is clearly itching for a device. While we may not see the HTC and Samsung LTE devices in time for CES, February's Mobile World Congress in Barcelona looks like a good launch platform for them and any further additions to the Windows Phone stable.
