Flipboard arrived on Android thanks to XDA developers

Posted by ~ Erch ~ on Thursday, May 10, 2012 | 14:30

Flipboard is an application that is so good that we would recommend to buy iPad just for sake of it. But there is no need for it anymore. Popular and super cool application for review of news, blogs and social profiles, it not longer exclusive only to iPad and iPhone.

Flipboard has arrived on Android, but is not available on Google Play,at least for now.Currently available only for Samsung Galaxy S III as part of a promotion and will remain so at least for some time.
But no worries, anyone can take the file install Flipboard thanks to the user Valcho from XDA-developers who has shared .apk file that can be installed via mobile browser or via QR code.
Flipboard was one of the favorite applications of the late Steve Jobs, and one of the favorite applications of 8 million iOS users, and I'm sure will be a favorite for the Android users as well, who will enjoy to read beautifully designed news drawn from the social networks.

Posted by ~ Erch ~ on Wednesday, May 2, 2012 | 07:48

New rumors about Samsung Galaxy S III , which may be presented during the Samsung Unpacked event expected tomorrow in London . After the images that confirm that the new Galaxy will have 4.8-inch display ,on GSMArena has emerged a new image that announces the possible colors of the most anticipated Android smartphone. The anonymous information comes from the inventory system of the Carphone Warehouse.

According to the anonymous tip , the Samsung Galaxy S III will be in two colors: White and Blue.

Samsung has decided to abandon the typical black color of your device? Probably will not, as suggested by the Galaxy Notes  for AT & T , which will be available in colors Ceramic White and Blue Carbon, which is color is very deep and it appears as black. You can see the blue color only in certain light conditions.

These two colors are easily visible in the presentation Samsung event tomorrow. Almost certainly also for the Galaxy S III will be available these colors , but to be absolutely certain we have to wait a little longer than 24 hours .

A new prototype of the Galaxy S3 shows the virtual keys and the new TouchWiz

Posted by ~ Erch ~ on Wednesday, April 25, 2012 | 02:19

Disseminated through a Chinese forum called Mobile01 today had emerged new photos and details of a prototype of Samsung GT-I9300 , images that reveal the presence of clear and unmistakable soft keys. Besides them we can also see a new physical center button and the new TouchWiz integrated in Android Ice Cream Sandwich.

Again Samsung has masked the design of the device using a cover and a chassis unofficial perform all the usual tests, but we can more clearly see the 3 classic keyboard Android reproduced on the screen but changed places with the back button to right over other producers. Decidedly particular the presence dele middle button at the bottom which could lead to two hypotheses:
  • Being a prototype is not the final version and Samsung could have put both buttons on screen that the physical center button had not yet decided the way to go in the final model
  • The new Galaxy may have a single middle button release or return to home and maybe even create buttons for other features and screen navigation
If the former is perhaps more likely, the second option sounds bizarre, and really hope that the manufacturer has not chosen this path.

Samsung Galaxy S III, 5-line interface and the physical Home button?

Posted by ~ Erch ~ on Tuesday, April 10, 2012 | 02:27

While many hope that the new top range Samsung smartphone may have the buttons integrated into the screen as the Galaxy nexus. In other hand Samsung has always been very conservative in his choices. The back button is always positioned opposite to the competition and virtually all Galaxy smartphones have a physical center button. According  to ddaily the  next Galaxy S3 will keep the physically  middle button,a choice that seems to have been debated at length and that might look like the image posted above.
A conservative choice and certainly not everyone might like it, although a physical key is often very useful to activate the screen from standby. In addition to this the new Touch Wiz has been confirmed, always from the same source, and should have 5 buttons in the toolbar of the home as the Galaxy notes with a stronger resolution. It will also be revisited and updated over the current version found on the S2 and N7000.
Samsung continues to keep the secret of this device and when it is difficult to speculate on the concrete appearance, shapes, sizes and specifications.

Samsung GT-i9300 photo leaks,is this the new Galaxy S III?

Posted by ~ Erch ~ on Thursday, March 22, 2012 | 04:15

If until now we have seen render images implausible speculations interesting concept and the new, hypothetical, S3 Galaxy , now comes the first live pictures of the successor to the Galaxy S2. Although, as always, is not absolute certainty, we can still say that this is a prototype very interesting and it reflects very closely the features of the new top range Samsung.
The reasons?
  • Integrated buttons on the screen (some)
  • Back button on the right (like all Samsung)
  • To render similar aesthetic seen in the past but with physical key (we had always said that we looked like)
  • Touch Wiz lighter-level menu customization

These are the main reasons they see in this picture a very realistic prototype of the successor to the Galaxy S2. As always the pictures "stolen" does not do justice to aesthetics, and though we will soon see new photos arrive.

New Image of Galaxy S III leaked

Posted by ~ Erch ~ on Sunday, March 18, 2012 | 02:43

If the picture yesterday of the new Galaxy S3 has been around the world and it seemed the most realistic shows to date, it must be said that nothing can confirm that this really is an official photo. The article and the comments we have stressed several times how that image might not fully reflect the features of the new device. Now comes yet another picture that seems to change the cards on the boards. In reality, the image we see in the opening article, while interesting, seems less credible than the previous year and in the absence of the bar of notification and the lack of clarity, not be excluded that it is a work of photoshop-based perhaps on a render or Galaxy Note.
The photo appeared on reddit and as always is offered with technical information and more or less reliable. According to the source, S3 would be able to select the touch wiz or customizing Android to clean. Option certainly interesting but it does not seem very realistic.Samsung has always differentiated its products with launcher, programs and icons of various kinds and a net shift in our view it is very difficult.
So this new image we do not consider particularly reliable, or still less than the previous year, while waiting to get new information, perhaps officers.
