Lumia 710 Windows Phone now available at Vodafone and Three in UK

The second Windows Phone Nokia Lumia 710  is now available for purchase in the UK from both Three and Vodafone.

With contract prices starting from just £20. Should you wish to buy the handset outright, Three is offering this option for £199 - which is not  bad price for a second generation Windows Phone Mango handset.

Nokia Lumia's are now available on Vodafone Germany

The Nokia Lumia 800 and Lumia 710 are now available on Vodafone Germany.


The 710 will retail unlocked for € 329.90 while the 800 will sell for €499.90. Subsidized however the Lumia 800 is only €59.90 with a €10 per month hardware fee and €49.95 monthly tariff. The Lumia 710 is only €29.90 on the same plan.

A new update for LG Optimus 7( Version 7.10.8107)

Surprisingly, here comes a new update to the operating system for LG Optimus 7, this update fixes several minor bugs found in previous versions.

Plaffo is noting that their LG Optimus 7 just received the very same update: The version of the operating system goes specifically to version 7.10.8107.79.More exciting is the news that it came with a list of changes, most of which will make most folks very happy: 

• It solves a problem of the keyboard on the screen, preventing the keyboard to disappear while typing Resolves an issue with syncing Gmail 
• It solves a problem of access to the location. 
• After the upgrade, the function IO hub sends to Microsoft anonymous information contact the Wi-Fi access points and antennas for mobile phones in the vicinity, only if you have allowed access to and use of location information from part of the "I'm here." 
• Revocation of certificates issued by DigiCert Sdn Bhd to solve a problem of encryption 
• Fixes a problem with the e-mail related to Microsoft Exchange Server 2003. 
• When you reply to or forward an email, the original message is now included in the response. 
• Fixes an issue of notification of voicemail

New Smartphones and Tablets Vodafone

In the past week at the Mobile World Congress 2011 in Barcelona has presented many new tablets and smartphones. Vodafone has now announced which devices over the next few months will be available from the mobile network operator.

Accordingly, the LG Speed Optimus (Optimus 2X) to be available in March for € 519.90 at Vodafone. The Android smartphone is based on the dual-core processor, Nvidia Tegra 2 and has a four-inch touch screen and two cameras. Also in March, the Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo will be available. A price for the 3.7-inch smartphone Android-based Vodafone has not yet revealed.

From April, the Samsung Nexus S for € 549.90 will be available. Instead of the super-AMOLED screen, the model offered in this country but has a touch screen based on the "Super Clear LCD" technology. Also available for the Sony Ericsson Xperia April Arc Vodafone has not revealed any price.

The two new tablets Android HTC and Samsung Galaxy Flyer Tab 10.1, also be available in April at Vodafone not yet available prices. The HTC Flyer has a seven-inch touch screen and a single-core CPU with 1.5 GHz clock frequency. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 offers a 10.1-inch touch screen and Nvidia's Tegra-2 dual-core processor.
