Posted by ~ Erch ~ on Tuesday, June 12, 2012 | 03:50

HTC has officially confirmed the news of the sale of the HTC One S with CPU S3 processor, initially introduced in major markets with Qualcomm S4 SoC system. At the first rumors about this change here comes the official confirmation from the manufacturer. Behind the decision to introduce the S3 chip version of HTC One S figure often mentioned the difficulty to successfully meet the requirement of such a chip, thanks to the popularity of LTE devices in 2012 — devices which by and large run on Qualcomm's chips

Does reflect the fact that HTC has said not only Asia but also Europe in geographical areas will receive HTC One S with Qualcomm S3 processor. Currently the Taiwanese manufacturer has not reported in details in which European countries the changed HTC One S will be sold, or by when it will start the distribution. We have already noticed that the version destined for the Asian market has a Qualcomm S3 processor slightly overclocked and it will be easy to identify patterns of the HTC One S with Qualcomm S3 processor analyzing the frequency of operation of the core, which will be clocked to 1.7 GHz instead of 1.5GHz
